this is a work in progress...started this piece about two days ago. this is just the top part...the entire thing is done on a long matte board scrap. Done in copic art markers.

The two people represented are myself and my current 'mancandy'...^^

had a lot of fun doing this one. simple inkwash, just black india ink (higgins brand). I adore the lines on the boy...done with a calligraphy pen with a c4 nib. very very nice. the tree, as you will find, is a very common BG I do...trees are simple and quite fun to draw. oh, and the ink splatters are common in my art as well.

this piece is dedicated and made for my good friend Justin. J, we'll always have the little one. and we'll always have Jim.

charcoal and white conte on black charcoal paper. at the time, I was fascinated with using dark papers and such; like I was 'drawing backwards'. I also had a major fixation with stencil cutting and printmaking.

no particular thoughts while doing the subject...in all honesty, this piece began as a sketchpage.
